Create and Manage Workers in the CSP
Services Maestro provides the administrative and compliance oversight needed to manage direct engagements with individual workers
How to Create Workers in the CSP
Supplier users assigned the appropriate permissions can create profiles for their workers in the CSP. Profiles include a worker's contact information, forms of identification, skills, along with documents needed for onboarding, all stored in one convenient place. Follow these steps to create a new worker profile:
- Navigate to Workers in the CSP.
- Click Create and complete the following sections for each worker you want to add. Or click Edit to modify the information in these sections for an existing worker. Fields displayed with an asterisk (*) are required:
Profile info
- First Name
- Last Name
- Middle Name (optional)
- Profile Picture
- Click Upload Profile Picture to choose an image saved on your computer or shared drive you can access. The image can be no larger than 16mb.
- After selecting an image you can crop it, then click Save.
- The Thumbnail of the uploaded images is displayed. You can click Change to replace an uploaded image or Cancel to discard the image without a replacement.
- Date of Birth - Enter as mm/dd/yyyy or click the calendar icon to select the date.
- Gender
- Country/Region of Residence
- Country/Region of Citizenship
- Current Title
- Total Experience (Years) - Enter the number of years of experience.
Email addresses
- Type - Select the type of email address you’re entering. You can select Personal, Work, or Other. You can add only one email of each type. At least one email address is required to create a worker profile.
- Email - Enter the email address. To enter more than one email address, click Add. Click the delete icon next to an email you want to remove.
Phone numbers
- Type - Select the type of phone number you’re entering. You can select Home, Mobile, Work, etc. You can add only one phone number of each type. At least one phone number is required to create a worker profile.
- Country Code - Select the appropriate code. To narrow the list, begin typing the code (either the number or two-letter code) until you see the one you are looking for, then select it.
- Phone Number - Enter the phone number in the format displayed under the Phone Number field, which varies depending on the country code selected. To enter more than one phone number, click Add. Click the delete icon next to a phone number you want to remove.
- Extension - Enter the extension, if applicable.
Addresses
- Address Type - Select the type of address you’re entering. You can select Home, Work, Mailing, or Other. You can add only one address of each type. At least one address is required to create a worker profile.
- Country/Region - Select the country/region where the address is located. Depending on your selection, the following fields display:
- Street 1 - typically the number and street name.
- Street 2 - typically an apartment or unit number.
- Street 3, 4, and so on - to capture any additional information about the address.
- Locality (optional)
- Landmark (optional)
- City/Town/Municipality
- District/County
- State/Region/Province
- State ISO Code
- Zip / Postal Code / Pin Code
- To enter more than one address, click Add. Click the delete icon to remove an address.
Documents
- Type - Select the type of document you’re adding. For example, Resume, Cover Letter, LinkedIn URL, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Rules of Engagement, Other.
- Attachment
- Click File to attach a document that is no larger than 100mb. You can browse for the document on your computer or a shared drive.
- Click URL to specify a website location where the document can be accessed (you don’t have to add http:// when entering the URL).
- To enter more than one document, click Add. You can add one document of each type. Click the delete icon next to a document you want to remove.
Skills
- Skill - Enter a skill, or begin typing a skill name until you see the one you want, then select it. Example skills could include Java Developer, Crane Operator, etc. If the skill you want to enter is not found, you can still enter it and it is added to the list of skills going forward. You can add up to 10 skills for an individual worker. To enter more than one skill, click Add. Click the delete icon next to a skill you want to remove.
- Proficiency - Select Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert to indicate the worker’s proficiency with the selected skill.
National identifiers
- Country/Region - Select the country/region associated with the identifier. Or begin typing a country name (either United States or United Kingdom. Other countries and regions will be added in future releases) until you see it displayed, then select it.
- Identifier Type - select the type of identifier. For example Passport, Driver’s License, SSN (Social Security Number in the U.S.). All users have permissions to enter national identifiers.
- Identifier - Enter the Identifier. By default, the identifier is masked as you enter it, for security reasons. Users with the appropriate permissions can click the eyeball icon to the right of the field to view the identifier in plain text. If you have more than one identifier, each one has its own eyeball icon, so unmasking one identifier has no effect on the others listed. You can add up to 5 national identifiers for a worker. To enter more than one national identifier, click Add. Click the delete icon next to a national identifier you want to remove.
External identifiers
- Type - Select the type of external identifier you are entering. The type can represent an external system such as ERP or HRIS. You can add one external identifier of each type.
- Identifier - Enter the identifier for the worker in this external system. To enter more than one external identifier, click Add. Click the delete icon next to an external identifier you want to remove.
Click Create to save the worker’s information and create the new profile, or Cancel to abandon the page without saving. If you are editing an existing worker’s profile, click Submit to save your changes. A unique ID is assigned to each new worker you create.
