Understand the CSP Workbench
The Coupa Supplier Portal Workbench is designed to streamline and simplify task management for users.
Suppliers who interact with a high volume of daily work requests face confusion around deliverables, leading to missed deadlines and costly cycle times. The Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) Workbench is designed to streamline and simplify the work management by providing a centralized view that consolidates all requests pending your action.
Notifications are now shown in the CSP Workbench.
For more information about managing notifications in your email or SMS, see View and Manage Notifications.

Setup requirements for tasks about orders
For the CSP Workbench to synchronize with order collaboration, specific configurations must be enabled:
- Buyers with PO Collaboration need to enable Setup > Company Information > Unified Workbench.
- For a task related to order to appear in the CSP Workbench, they must be configured by buyers as a Seeded Task.
- Triggers: Buyers configure these tasks to appear automatically when specific conditions are met, for example, when an order confirmation pending review.
- Priorities & Reminders: The buyer also determines the priority of these tasks and sets up any reminders you might receive
.
The CSP Workbench supports tasks related to order confirmations when your buyers have PO Collaboration.
Notifications FAQ
How can a customer use the workbench?
If you are a buyer or customer and want to read more about the Workbench, you can find the documentation in Coupa Compass > Products > Supply Change Collaboration > Supply Chain Collaboration Documentation > Purchas Order Collaboration > Using PO Collaboration > Use the Workbench to Manage Order Confirmation Tasks > Understand the Workbench.
What is the difference between a notification and a task?
Notifications are the way Coupa keeps you informed about new information or changes related to your account. You can receive notifications through email or SMS.
Tasks require an action in order to be completed. These appear on your workbench when Coupa or their customers needs you to take an action.
Why can't I see a notification in the workbench?
Some notifications do not require any action on your part. For example, when an invoice is approved, there typically isn't any follow-up needed from suppliers, so there is no task for you to perform. You can configure your notification settings to receive an email when such events happen by following the steps in Change your CSP notification preferences above.
What events create a task or notification?
