Answer CSP-Related Questions with CSP Supplier Assistance Agent

The CSP Supplier Assistance Agent helps you find information about the CSP by leveraging AI and the Coupa documentation in Compass.

Ask Coupa Navi™ (Navi) questions about the CSP, for example, where to find the information you need. Navi provides answers based on the Compass document library for suppliers. 

Use Navi

  1. Log in to the CSP.
  2. Hover over the Coupa Navi™ icon (Coupa Navi icon) in the bottom right corner of the page and click the Coupa Navi™ button (Coupa Navi button).
    The Coupa Navi™ chat window opens.

     Note

    You can move the Navi chat window anywhere on the page.

    You can minimize the chat window with the minus (−) icon.

  3. Select the input field at the bottom of the chat window, and write your question or prompt. 
    Use keywords to find better results. 
  4. Select the send icon on the right of the input field.
  5. Review the answers provided. Select the links under the References section to find specific answers to your questions based on the information in Compass.
    Coupa Navi can make mistakes. Please check important information.
  6. (Optional) After each response, leave feedback by choosing the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down icon. Depending on your choice, you can select from the following feedback options:

    • For Thumbs Up: Accurate Answer, Good Suggestion or Speedy Response
    • For Thumbs Down: Inaccurate Answer, Missed Context, or Slow Response

    You can also provide additional thoughts before submitting your feedback.

    Navi acknowledges your feedback with a related response.

  7. (Optional) You can download the CSP Navi chat conversation as a PDF file.
    1. Select the Download icon on the bottom-left corner of the Navi window. 
      This generates a PDF file.
    2. Save the file in your device.

From the Navi chat window, you can select the Get Help option at the bottom right, underneath the input field. This can guide you to the Compass site for suppliers or the Live Chat Support option to communicate with a live human support agent.

Disable Navi for your suppliers

As a CSP Admin user, you can disable Navi for your users:

  1. Select the Setup tab.
  2. Click on the Admin tab below the main navigation bar.
  3. Select the Users option on the left menu.
  4. Click on the Edit button on the far right of a user's line.
    This opens the Edit user access for [User Name] window. 
  5. Select the Navi Access permission. For more information about permissions, see List of user permissions in Manage Users.
