Manage the Workbench

Suppliers who interact with a high volume of daily work requests face confusion around deliverables, leading to missed deadlines and costly cycle times. The Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) Workbench is designed to streamline and simplify the work management by providing a centralized view that consolidates all requests pending your action. 

Using the Workbench

To access the dashboard, go to the top menu and select the Workbench button Workbench icon button in form of a checkmark, as displayed on the image below.

Number 2 is highlighting the first task on the dashboard. Number 3 highlights  a specific tag next to the task name. Number 4 highlights the action column next to a line-level PO within the task. Number 5 highlights the Workbench menu on the left of the window. Number 6 highlights a bell icon next to the task title in the center of the window.

The following table describes the different sections of the CSP Workbench:

Number Name Description
1 Alerts

A red dot appears on the Workbench icon when a task is pending your action.

2 Tasks

A task is a request assigned to you. You can filter tasks by customer using the Select Customer dropdown.

 Note:

Currently, the CSP Workbench supports only tasks related to order confirmations.

3 Priority The urgency of a task compared to others. Tasks are sorted by their priority.
4 Task Actions

On each line, you can perform the following actions: 

  • Accept the line
  • Reject the line
  • Purpose changes
5 Views 

A set of tasks grouped by a similar state: 

  • Open: Displays all open tasks, excluding snoozed and completed ones.
  • Overdue: Shows open tasks that are past their due date.
  • Due Today: Lists open tasks due today.
  • Completed: Displays completed tasks.
6 Reminders A reminder is an alert configured by the buyer. Is delivered to you at ab specified time after task creation.
