5. Create a Backed Invoice with Service Lines

Task

For the PO retrieved in step 1, create an invoice that has service lines, and includes both line level taxes and header charges.

Using Flat File CSV

For a backed invoice with header charges and line level taxes, the following fields are particularly relevant to this scenario, but optional, so set the values as appropriate.

Header Charges

• Handling Amount
• Misc Amount
• Shipping Amount

Line Level Taxation (Set to ‘Yes’)

• Line Tax Amount
• Line Tax Rate
• Line Tax Code

Test case

Create a PO-backed service invoice with line tax and header charges. Make sure your cXML invoice file passes Coupa validations by ensuring the following:

• Line 2 references InvoiceDetail.dtd
• Header credentials match the set up in Coupa
• DocumentReference payloadID is a Coupa PO
• lineNumber matches the Coupa PO line
• UnitOfMeasure matches the Coupa PO line
